The ELECTRO HARDWARE P469M06F16440 is a female hex circuit board standoff designed to create a threaded mounting post between a PCB and a chassis or secondary board. Machined from aluminum alloy with a plain bright finish, this standoff measures 3 inches overall length with a 3/16-inch hex body across flats. The internal thread is a 4-40 female configuration with a 1/4-inch thread depth on each end. It is used in electronics assembly, control panel fabrication, and equipment enclosures where lightweight, non-magnetic fastening is required. Electricians, control panel builders, and electronics technicians are the primary installers.
This standoff is suited for mounting circuit boards in residential and commercial HVAC control panels, electrical enclosures, industrial equipment, and custom electronic assemblies. The 3-inch OAL provides substantial board-to-surface clearance, making it appropriate for applications where components on the board underside require clearance from the mounting surface. Sold individually per package with a minimum order quantity of 10 units.

Installation is performed by electronics technicians or licensed electricians during control panel assembly or PCB servicing. Always de-energize and lock out the equipment before working inside an enclosure. Use a 3/16-inch hex nut driver or appropriately sized wrench to drive the standoff without damaging the hex flats. Do not overtighten — aluminum threads are susceptible to stripping if torqued beyond hand-snug plus a small fraction of a turn.
