The ELECTRO HARDWARE P293M03F21256 is a female hex circuit board standoff designed to mount and space printed circuit boards within electronic enclosures, control panels, and electrical assemblies. This standoff features a 2-56 female thread, a fully threaded 1/4 inch thread depth, and a compact 3/16 inch width across flats. The hex body shape allows for tool-assisted tightening with a standard wrench or nut driver. Constructed from brass with a clear zinc chromate finish per ASTM B633 Type 1 and QQ-B-626 Comp 22, it provides corrosion resistance suitable for indoor panel and board-mount applications. Electricians, HVAC control board technicians, and electronics assemblers use these standoffs when securing low-voltage control boards or PCBs to mounting surfaces.
This standoff is suited for residential and commercial control panels, HVAC circuit board assemblies, electrical enclosures, and general electronic equipment where precise board spacing and a secure threaded connection are required. The 1/4 inch overall length makes it appropriate for applications where minimal stack height between the board and mounting surface is needed. The brass base material combined with zinc plating resists oxidation in typical indoor service environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation standoff for circuit board mounting applications requiring a 2-56 female threaded hex standoff with 1/4 inch overall length in inch-measurement fastener systems.
These standoffs are installed by electricians, electronics technicians, and HVAC control board technicians during panel assembly or board replacement. De-energize all circuits and discharge any capacitors before handling circuit boards or installing standoffs. A small wrench or nut driver sized for 3/16 inch flats should be used to seat the standoff without over-torquing the brass body. Follow applicable NEC guidelines and equipment manufacturer instructions when mounting control boards in electrical enclosures.
