The ELECTRO HARDWARE MS1039M17F16D is a round, female unthreaded circuit board spacer designed to maintain precise separation between a PCB and a mounting surface or secondary board. Machined from Nylon Grade 101 and left uncoated, this spacer meets MIL-P-17091B fastener standards. It accepts an M3 screw, measures 20 mm (0.787 inches) overall length, and carries an outside diameter of 6 mm (0.236 inches). The inside diameter ranges from 3.2 mm to 3.6 mm (0.126 to 0.142 inches), providing the clearance needed for M3 fastener pass-through. Electronics assembly technicians and field service electricians use this spacer during board mounting and panel assembly work.
This spacer is suited for use in electronics assemblies where non-conductive standoff material is required between circuit boards and chassis surfaces. The nylon construction makes it appropriate for low-voltage PCB mounting in control panels, HVAC control boards, electrical enclosures, and similar light-duty electronics assembly applications. Do not overtighten M3 fasteners against nylon spacers, as the material can crack or deform under excessive clamping force.
