The ELECTRO HARDWARE MS1001M17F16D is a round, female unthreaded circuit board spacer designed to maintain precise standoff clearance between a PCB and a mating surface. Sized for M3 screw hardware, this spacer is molded from Nylon Grade 101 and meets MIL-P-17091B fastener standards. It measures 1.0 mm overall length (OAL) with an outside diameter of 6.0 mm and an inside diameter ranging from 3.2 to 3.6 mm. The uncoated finish keeps the part electrically neutral and free of metallic contamination near sensitive circuit traces. Electronics assemblers and electrical technicians install this spacer during PCB mounting operations in industrial, commercial, and military-grade assemblies.
This spacer is suited for applications where compact vertical clearance is required and where non-conductive hardware is preferred to prevent short circuits or galvanic corrosion on circuit boards. Do not overtighten M3 fasteners against the nylon body, as excessive torque can crack or deform the spacer.
