The ELECTRO HARDWARE MP445M19F16M3 is a female hex circuit board standoff designed to create accurate, fixed spacing between PCBs or between a board and a mounting surface. Machined from nylon with a plain, uncoated finish, this standoff is fully threaded to an M3 x 0.5 thread size across its entire 23 mm overall length. The hex body measures 4.5 mm width across flats, allowing standard hex tooling for secure installation. With a tensile strength of 16,500 psi, this nylon standoff offers reliable structural integrity in low-load electronic assemblies where non-conductive spacing hardware is required.
This standoff is suited for use in PCB assembly, control panel fabrication, and electronic enclosure builds across a range of industries including HVAC controls, industrial automation, and electrical panel manufacturing. Installation of circuit board standoffs is typically performed by electronics assembly technicians or licensed electricians during control board or panel fabrication. Power down all circuits completely before working on any PCB or control enclosure. Use an appropriately sized hex driver or nut driver matching the 4.5 mm across-flats dimension to avoid rounding the hex body. Do not overtighten — nylon fasteners have lower torque tolerance than metal hardware and can crack under excessive force.
