The ELECTRO HARDWARE MP435M03F21M3 is a female hex circuit board standoff designed to mount and space printed circuit boards within electronic enclosures and control assemblies. Machined from brass with a clear zinc chromate finish meeting ASTM B633 Type 1 and QQ-B-626 Comp 22 standards, it provides a corrosion-resistant threaded mount point for PCB stacking and panel installation. The M3 x 0.5 metric thread runs the full 18 mm body length, giving a complete 18 mm thread depth for maximum engagement. At 4.5 mm width across flats, the hex body seats cleanly in a standard hex driver or nutrunner. This hardware is installed by electronics technicians, controls assemblers, and field service techs working on HVAC control boards, industrial panels, and similar low-voltage assemblies.
The MP435M03F21M3 is suited for residential and commercial applications wherever PCBs require rigid, electrically isolated standoff mounting. Common install scenarios include HVAC control board assemblies, variable-frequency drive enclosures, automation panels, and equipment requiring metric fastener hardware. The fully threaded female hex body accepts an M3 x 0.5 machine screw from one end while threading directly onto a mating stud or screw from the opposite end, supporting both stacking and panel-mount configurations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install standoff for printed circuit board assemblies requiring M3 x 0.5 metric threaded female hex standoffs with an 18 mm overall length.
Installation is performed by electronics technicians or controls assemblers using a hex driver sized to the 4.5 mm across-flats measurement. De-energize all control boards and discharge any capacitors before handling PCBs or installing standoffs. Do not overtighten brass standoffs, as the material is softer than steel and thread damage can occur with excessive torque. Follow applicable assembly drawings and any governing electrical codes for the enclosure type being serviced.
