The ELECTRO HARDWARE MP1043M06F16M3 is a female hex circuit board standoff machined from aluminum alloy T3 grade stock. It accepts M3 x 0.5 metric fasteners and provides a fully threaded internal bore running the full 22 mm thread depth. The hex body measures 6 mm across flats, giving technicians a positive wrench grip during installation. At 22 mm overall length, this standoff creates a fixed separation between a PCB and its mounting surface or between stacked boards. The plain, bright uncoated finish suits indoor electronics assemblies where corrosion exposure is minimal. Electronics assemblers, panel builders, and controls technicians working on low-voltage circuit board assemblies are the primary installers of this hardware.
This standoff is sized for metric M3 applications in circuit board mounting scenarios common to industrial controls, HVAC control boards, electrical enclosures, and similar panel assemblies. The hex body shape allows installation and removal with a standard 6 mm open-end or box wrench. The fully threaded bore accommodates machine screws from either end, making it suitable for through-stack configurations. The aluminum construction keeps weight low while maintaining adequate strength for typical PCB mounting loads. This fastener meets QQ-A-225A Comp 2 material standards.
Designed for use in metric M3 x 0.5 threaded circuit board standoff applications where a 22 mm overall length hex aluminum spacer is required.
Installation is typically performed by electronics assemblers or controls technicians during PCB mounting or panel assembly. Power down and de-energize all circuits before working on or near circuit boards. Use a 6 mm wrench or nut driver to engage the hex body — do not use pliers, which may deform the aluminum hex flats. Verify that mating fastener thread pitch is M3 x 0.5 before assembly to avoid cross-threading the aluminum bore.
