The ELECTRO HARDWARE MP1013M06F16M4 is a female hex circuit board standoff designed to create precise spacing between PCBs, mounting panels, and enclosure hardware in electronic assemblies. Machined from aluminum alloy (Material Grade T3) with a plain bright/uncoated finish, this standoff features a fully threaded M4 x 0.7 interior thread running the full 7 mm thread depth. The hex body measures 6 mm across flats, allowing standard hex drivers to seat and torque the fastener cleanly. At 7 mm overall length, it delivers compact yet reliable board-to-surface standoff in tight assemblies. Electronics assembly technicians, panel builders, and field service electricians use this hardware when mounting circuit boards in control panels, HVAC control modules, and similar enclosures.
This standoff is suited for metric-fastener electronic assemblies in residential and commercial applications where aluminum construction is preferred for weight reduction and corrosion resistance. Typical use cases include PCB mounting in HVAC control board enclosures, electrical panel subassemblies, and industrial control boxes where M4 x 0.7 thread engagement is specified. The plain finish is appropriate for indoor and protected environments where no additional corrosion barrier is required. Meets QQ-A-225A Comp 2 material standards.
Designed as an OEM-style metric circuit board standoff for use in electronic assemblies, control panels, and PCB mounting applications requiring M4 x 0.7 thread engagement and a 6 mm hex body profile.
Installation is performed by electronics assembly technicians or licensed electricians during control board mounting or panel build-out. Power down and de-energize all equipment before installing or replacing standoffs in any live enclosure. Use a metric hex driver or wrench sized for 6 mm across flats to avoid rounding the hex body. Do not overtighten against PCB mounting holes, as aluminum threads can be damaged by excessive torque; follow PCB manufacturer torque specifications for the mating fastener.
