The ELECTRO HARDWARE MP1007M03F21M4 is a female hex circuit board standoff designed to create precise, secure spacing between printed circuit boards and mounting surfaces or between stacked boards. Machined from brass with a zinc-plated finish that meets ASTM B633 Type 1 and QQ-B-626 Comp 22 standards, this standoff delivers corrosion resistance and reliable electrical isolation in tight PCB assemblies. The fully threaded M4 x 0.7 female thread runs the full 4 mm body length, allowing a mating screw to engage at any depth within the standoff. The hexagonal body profile measures 6 mm across flats, making it compatible with standard hex drivers and nut drivers used in electronics and enclosure assembly work.
This standoff is suited for use in residential and commercial control panels, HVAC control boards, electrical enclosures, and industrial PCB assemblies where consistent board-to-board or board-to-chassis spacing is required. Electricians, electronics technicians, and HVAC controls specialists commonly use this type of hardware when mounting control boards inside furnaces, air handlers, condensing units, and similar equipment. The metric M4 thread size makes it appropriate for metric-threaded PCB assemblies and imported equipment with metric fastener patterns.
Designed as a metric-threaded female hex standoff for use in M4-threaded PCB assemblies, control boards, and electrical enclosures requiring a 4 mm overall length brass standoff with a zinc-plated finish.
Power down and de-energize all circuits before installing or removing standoffs from live control boards or electrical enclosures. A hex driver or nut driver sized to 6 mm across flats is required for proper installation without damaging the hex body. Do not overtighten mating screws, as brass threads can be damaged by excessive torque. Installation should comply with applicable NEC requirements for electrical enclosures and the equipment manufacturer's assembly specifications.
