The ELECTRO HARDWARE MMF1837M06F16M4 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff machined from aluminum alloy and designed for metric M4 x 0.7 threaded applications. It provides a rigid, electrically isolated spacer between stacked PCBs or between a board and a mounting surface. The hex body shape - 6 mm width across flats - allows standard wrench or hex driver installation without marring the body. Overall length is 32.53 mm (approximately 1.28 inches), with a body length of 23.00 mm and a thread depth of 11.10 mm. The uncoated bright finish is consistent with QQ-A-225A Comp 2 aluminum material standards. Electronics assembly technicians and electrical panel builders use this fastener in control board mounting, industrial enclosures, and OEM equipment builds.
This standoff suits residential and commercial applications wherever metric-threaded PCB stacking or board-to-chassis spacing is required. Typical install scenarios include control board assemblies inside HVAC equipment, variable-frequency drives, power supply enclosures, and industrial automation panels. The male thread engages one board or chassis while the female thread receives the next standoff or machine screw in the stack, enabling clean, repeatable board separation with controlled spacing.
Designed for use with M4 x 0.7 metric threaded hardware in PCB stacking assemblies, chassis mounts, and enclosure builds requiring a hex standoff with male-female thread configuration.
Installation is performed with a standard 6 mm hex wrench or socket driver. Power down and de-energize the assembly completely before working on any circuit board or enclosure. Avoid over-torquing aluminum standoffs, as the material is softer than steel and threads can be damaged by excessive force. Follow applicable electrical codes and equipment manufacturer guidelines when mounting control boards inside energized enclosures.
