The ELECTRO HARDWARE MMF1823M06F16M4 is an aluminum male-female hex circuit board standoff designed to create fixed spacing between stacked PCBs or between a board and an enclosure panel. The standoff features an M4 x 0.7 thread on both the male and female ends, a 6 mm hex body width across flats, and an overall length of 25.53 mm (approximately 1.005 inches). The 16 mm body length and 6 mm hex profile allow standard hex drivers or nut drivers to seat and torque the fastener properly. Manufactured to QQ-A-225A Comp 2 specification, the T3 aluminum construction keeps weight minimal while providing adequate mechanical strength for board-mounting applications. Electronics assemblers and field service technicians install this hardware during PCB assembly, panel mounting, and control board replacement tasks.
This standoff is suited for use in residential and commercial electronic assemblies where metric M4 threaded hardware is specified. Typical applications include control boards in HVAC systems, industrial enclosures, and other equipment where circuit boards must be elevated and mechanically secured. The bright uncoated aluminum finish makes it appropriate for indoor environments where corrosion exposure is limited. The hex body shape simplifies installation in tight board layouts where clearance for tooling is restricted.
Designed as an OEM-style metric standoff for circuit board assemblies specifying M4 x 0.7 threaded hardware with a 6 mm hex body profile.
Installation is typically performed by electronics assemblers or field service technicians working on control board assemblies. Power down and de-energize all equipment before installing or replacing circuit board hardware. Use a metric hex driver or nut driver sized for a 6 mm across-flats profile to avoid rounding the body. Hand-start threads carefully before applying torque to prevent cross-threading in aluminum.
