The ELECTRO HARDWARE MMF1805M06F16M4 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff machined from aluminum alloy to metric M4x0.7 threading. It provides a rigid, measured separation between stacked PCBs or between a circuit board and an enclosure panel. The hex body measures 6 mm across flats, allowing a wrench or hex driver to seat it without slippage. Overall length is 16.53 mm, with a 7 mm hex body, a 9.53 mm male thread length, and an 11.10 mm female thread depth. Material is aluminum T3 alloy, bright and uncoated, conforming to fastener standard QQ-A-225A Comp 2. Electronics assemblers, control panel builders, and field technicians use this standoff when mounting logic boards, relay boards, or control modules inside HVAC, electrical, or industrial enclosures.
This standoff is suited for metric M4x0.7 threaded PCB mounting applications in both commercial and residential panel assemblies. It is commonly installed during new control board assemblies, retrofit board swaps, or enclosure builds where consistent board-to-surface spacing is required. The aluminum construction keeps weight low while maintaining dimensional stability across typical service temperature ranges. Its uncoated bright finish is appropriate for indoor control enclosures where corrosion exposure is minimal.
Designed for use in any metric M4x0.7 threaded circuit board standoff application where a male-female hex configuration and a 16.53 mm overall length are required.
Installation is performed by electronics assemblers or control panel technicians. Always de-energize the enclosure and discharge any stored voltage before working on or near mounted circuit boards. Use a properly sized metric wrench or socket on the 6 mm hex body to avoid rounding the flats. Do not overtighten against PCB mounting holes, as aluminum threads can strip if torque is excessive; finger-tight plus a snug quarter-turn is the general field practice for aluminum standoffs of this size.
