The ELECTRO HARDWARE MMF1325M0321M25 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff designed to create precise spacing and secure mechanical connections between stacked PCBs or between a PCB and a mounting surface. Manufactured from brass with a zinc-plated finish that meets ASTM B633 Type 1 and QQ-B-626 Comp 22 standards, this standoff offers corrosion resistance in demanding electronic assembly environments. The metric M2.5 x 0.45 thread profile and 4.5 mm hex body width make it a standard choice for tight-tolerance PCB mounting applications. The overall length is 20.97 mm with a body length of 17.00 mm and a thread depth of 4.80 mm. Typically installed by electronics assembly technicians, field service engineers, or automation specialists.
This standoff is used in residential and commercial electronic control assemblies, industrial PCB stacking configurations, and OEM equipment builds where consistent board-to-board or board-to-chassis standoff height is required. The male-female configuration allows multiple standoffs to be threaded in series for multi-board stacks. It is well suited for HVAC control boards, electrical panel electronics, and similar trade applications where metric hardware is specified. The hex body accepts a standard wrench or nut driver for secure installation without fastener spin-out.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation standoff for metric M2.5 x 0.45 threaded circuit board mounting applications in electronic control assemblies.
Installation is performed by electronics assembly technicians or qualified service personnel. Power down and de-energize all equipment before handling circuit boards or installing standoffs. Use a properly sized nut driver or hex wrench sized for 4.50 mm width across flats to avoid rounding the hex body. Do not overtighten, as brass threads can be damaged by excessive torque on thin PCB mounting holes.
