The ELECTRO HARDWARE MMF1321M06F16M3 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff designed to mount and space printed circuit boards within electronic enclosures and control assemblies. Machined from T3-grade aluminum with a bright uncoated finish, it meets the QQ-A-225A Comp 2 fastener standard. The standoff features an M3 x 0.5 threaded stud on the male end and a threaded bore on the female end, allowing boards to be stacked or secured to a chassis with consistent, repeatable spacing. The hex body measures 4.5 mm across flats, providing a clean wrench grip for installation. HVAC technicians, electricians, and electronics assemblers use this hardware when building or servicing control board assemblies in panel enclosures and equipment cabinets.
This standoff is suited for metric-threaded circuit board mounting applications in residential and commercial equipment. It is commonly used in control panel assemblies, variable-frequency drive enclosures, relay boards, and similar low-voltage electronic subassemblies where precise board standoff height and secure mechanical fastening are required. The overall installed length of 19.76 mm and body length of 15.00 mm make it appropriate for applications requiring moderate board clearance from a chassis surface.
Designed for use with M3 x 0.5 metric-threaded circuit board mounting applications in electronic enclosures, control panels, and equipment cabinets requiring aluminum hex standoffs.
Installation is typically performed by electronics assemblers, electricians, or HVAC controls technicians. De-energize all circuits and discharge any capacitors before working inside a control enclosure. Use a nut driver or hex wrench sized to 4.5 mm across flats to seat the standoff without over-torquing, which can crack PCB mounting holes. Follow applicable NEC guidelines when working inside energized electrical enclosures.
