The ELECTRO HARDWARE MMF1303M06F16M3 is an aluminum male-female hex circuit board standoff designed to create precise spacing between PCBs and mounting surfaces in electronic assemblies. The standoff features an M3x0.5 thread on both ends - a male thread on one end and a female threaded bore on the other - allowing boards to be stacked or offset at a fixed distance. The overall length is 10.76 mm (0.42 inches), with a 6.00 mm body length and a hex profile measuring 4.50 mm (0.18 inches) across flats for wrench engagement. Material is T3-grade aluminum with a bright uncoated finish, conforming to QQ-A-225A Comp 2. These are installed by electronics technicians and field service professionals working on control boards in HVAC, electrical, and industrial equipment.
This standoff is suited for metric PCB assemblies requiring a rigid, non-threaded body section between two mating boards. Typical applications include control board mounting in HVAC equipment, industrial enclosures, and electronic chassis where M3 hardware is specified. The male thread engages a tapped hole or nut in the base layer while the female bore accepts a mating screw from the upper board. Length tolerance is -0.150 to 0.150 mm, making these appropriate where consistent stack height is critical.
Designed for use in metric PCB assemblies specifying M3x0.5 threaded hardware, including control boards and electronic chassis found in HVAC systems, industrial equipment, and electrical enclosures.
Installation is typically performed by electronics technicians or field service personnel during control board assembly or replacement. Power down and de-energize all circuits before working on any PCB assembly. Use an appropriately sized hex driver or wrench on the 4.50 mm flats to seat the standoff without over-torquing, which can strip the aluminum threads. Ensure the mating hole in the base panel is tapped or fitted with a compatible M3 insert before installation.
