The ELECTRO HARDWARE E1715 is a rectangular cabinet and equipment handle machined from aluminum with a plain, uncoated finish. It stands 1.5 inches high with a 4-inch center-to-center mounting span, making it a standard-sized pull for enclosure panels, junction box covers, and light equipment drawers. The mounting stud uses an 8-32 thread, which is a common size in electronic and light-duty industrial enclosure hardware. The cross-section of the grip measures 0.25 inches by 0.5 inches. Electricians, panel builders, and enclosure integrators typically specify this style of handle for rack-mounted equipment, control panels, and field enclosures where a low-profile, durable pull is required.
This handle is suited for use on metal electrical enclosures, HVAC control cabinets, instrumentation panels, and similar trade applications. Its aluminum construction keeps weight low while providing adequate rigidity for repeated service access. The plain finish accepts paint or anodizing in the field if a finished appearance is needed. It is a direct fit wherever an 8-32 threaded stud, 4-inch center-to-center rectangular pull is called for in commercial or light industrial panel work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation handle for electrical enclosures, control panels, and instrumentation cabinets requiring a 4-inch center-to-center, 8-32 threaded rectangular pull in the ELECTRO HARDWARE Series E product family.
Installation is performed by electricians or panel builders during enclosure assembly or service. Power down and de-energize the enclosure before removing or replacing any panel hardware. Secure the handle using appropriately sized 8-32 hardware; do not overtighten fasteners into aluminum stud threads. Follow applicable NEC guidelines for enclosure access and cover integrity when modifying panel hardware.
