The ELECTRO HARDWARE 1427M03F21-1032 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff used to mount and space printed circuit boards within enclosures, panels, and electronic assemblies. The standoff features a 10-32 thread size with a male thread on one end and a female threaded bore on the other, allowing boards to be stacked or secured at a fixed distance from a mounting surface. The hex body measures 0.25 inches across the flats, with an overall length of 0.625 inches. Constructed from brass with a zinc-plated finish conforming to ASTM B633 Type 1 and QQ-B-626 Comp 22, this standoff delivers corrosion resistance and reliable thread engagement in demanding electronic and control-panel applications. Electricians, panel builders, and electronics technicians use these standoffs during board installation and retrofit work.
This standoff is suited for residential and commercial control panel assemblies, HVAC control board installations, electrical enclosures, and general PCB mounting applications. The male-female configuration allows multiple standoffs to be threaded together or used with a mating fastener to secure a circuit board at the correct height above a chassis or DIN-rail-mounted backplane. The 10-32 thread size is a common standard in electronics and instrumentation panel work.
Designed as a standard 10-32 male-female hex circuit board standoff for use in electronic enclosures, control panels, and PCB assemblies requiring inch-series fasteners.
Installation is performed by electricians, panel builders, or electronics technicians working on control boards or enclosure assemblies. Power down and de-energize all circuits before installing or removing circuit board standoffs. Use an appropriately sized hex driver or wrench matched to the 0.25 inch width across flats to avoid rounding the hex body. Follow applicable NEC guidelines when working inside energized electrical enclosures.
