The ELECTRO HARDWARE 1361M06F16256 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff machined from aluminum alloy T3 with a bright, uncoated finish. It accepts a 2-56 threaded fastener on the male end and provides a 2-56 female threaded receptacle on the opposite end, allowing boards to be stacked or spaced at a fixed, repeatable distance. The overall body length is 2 inches, the width across flats measures 3/16 inches, and the thread depth is 3/16 inches with a thread length of 5/32 inches. The hexagonal body shape allows secure torquing with standard nut drivers or hex wrenches. This standoff conforms to fastener standard QQ-A-225A Comp 2 and carries a length tolerance of plus or minus 0.005 inches.
This standoff is used in electronic and electrical assembly work wherever circuit boards must be mounted with a controlled air gap for heat dissipation, isolation, or mechanical clearance. Typical applications include PCB mounting in control enclosures, HVAC control boards, automation panels, and low-voltage electronics assemblies. The 2-inch spacing is well suited to multi-board stack configurations or mounting a board away from a metal chassis. Installation is performed by electronics technicians and electrical panel assemblers working with standard inch-series fastener tooling.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation standoff for circuit board assemblies using 2-56 inch-series threaded fasteners in electronic control enclosures and low-voltage panel applications.
Installation is performed by electronics technicians or licensed electricians using standard inch-series nut drivers or hex wrenches sized for 3/16-inch across-flats hex stock. Always de-energize and discharge the circuit board assembly before handling or mounting standoffs. Avoid over-torquing aluminum standoffs against metal chassis surfaces, as the material is softer than steel fasteners and can deform under excessive load. Follow applicable NEC requirements when mounting control boards inside electrical enclosures.
