The ELECTRO HARDWARE 1345M03F21256 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff designed to create fixed spacing between stacked PCBs or between a circuit board and a chassis. The standoff features a 2-56 thread on the male end and a matching 2-56 threaded female bore on the opposite end, allowing multiple boards to be stacked or a single board to be mounted at a controlled height. The body is brass with a zinc-plated finish meeting ASTM B633 Type 1 and QQ-B-626 Comp 22 standards. Overall body length is 1.5 inches with a hex body shape measuring 3/16 inches across the flats. The male thread length is 5/32 inches and the female thread depth is 3/16 inches. This hardware is commonly installed by electronics assemblers, PCB technicians, and field service technicians during board-level assembly or enclosure mounting work.
This standoff is suited for residential and commercial electronic control assemblies, HVAC control boards, industrial PCB stacking applications, and general enclosure mounting where 2-56 threaded hardware is specified. The hex body allows installation and removal with standard nut drivers or hex wrenches, making it practical for production assembly and field service alike. It is sold individually and is appropriate wherever a single-piece male-female standoff at 1.5 inches overall length is required.
Designed as a standard 2-56 male-female hex standoff for use in any PCB assembly or enclosure mounting application that specifies 2-56 threaded hardware and a 1.5-inch standoff height.
Installation is typically performed by electronics assembly technicians or field service personnel working on control boards and enclosures. Power down all equipment and discharge any capacitors before handling circuit boards or installing standoffs. Use a properly sized nut driver matched to the 3/16-inch hex body to apply torque evenly and avoid stripping the hex flats or damaging the board. Do not overtighten, as the brass body can be damaged by excessive torque.
