The ELECTRO HARDWARE 1325M09F16256 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff machined from 303-grade stainless steel with a bright uncoated finish. It uses a 2-56 thread and has an overall body length of 0.875 inches. The hex body measures 0.1875 inches across flats, providing a positive grip point for installation and removal. This standoff creates a fixed vertical offset between a PCB and a chassis or secondary board, maintaining clearance for component spacing and airflow. It is installed by electronics technicians and field service professionals working on control boards in HVAC equipment, industrial enclosures, and other electronic assemblies.
This standoff is suited for applications requiring a compact, corrosion-resistant fastener in tight PCB layouts. The male end threads into the mounting surface or a lower board while the female end accepts a screw from above, allowing boards to be stacked or mounted with consistent spacing. The 3/16-inch thread depth on the female side and 5/32-inch thread length on the male side are appropriate for standard 2-56 fastener configurations. Typical applications include control board mounting in residential and light commercial HVAC systems, instrumentation panels, and electronic enclosures where stainless steel is specified for corrosion resistance or compliance requirements.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation standoff for circuit board assemblies using 2-56 thread fasteners where a 7/8-inch standoff height is required.
Installation is typically performed by electronics technicians or field service personnel. De-energize all equipment and discharge any stored energy before handling circuit boards or installing standoffs. Use a hex driver or nut driver sized for 3/16-inch across flats to avoid rounding the hex body. Avoid over-torquing, as 2-56 threads in stainless steel are susceptible to galling; apply anti-seize if repeated removal is expected.
