The ELECTRO HARDWARE 1317M09F16256 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff designed to create fixed spacing between stacked PCBs or between a circuit board and a mounting surface. Machined from 303 stainless steel with a bright uncoated finish, this standoff meets the QQ-S-763 fastener standard. It features a 2-56 thread size on both the male and female ends, an overall body length of 0.625 inches, and a hex body width across flats of 0.1875 inches (3/16 inches). The male thread length is 5/32 inches and the female thread depth is 3/16 inches. Electronics technicians, electrical contractors, and field service professionals install these fasteners where a corrosion-resistant, non-magnetic spacer is required in control panel or circuit board assemblies.
This standoff is suited for use in residential and commercial control board assemblies, HVAC control panels, electrical enclosures, and similar applications where precise PCB spacing and mechanical rigidity are required. The 303 stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for environments where mild corrosion resistance is a priority. The inch-system 2-56 thread pattern is common in low-voltage control boards and electronic subassemblies used across the trades. Sold individually, this standoff accommodates applications requiring single-unit replacement or small-quantity repair work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation standoff for circuit board assemblies using a 2-56 inch-system thread pattern with a 3/16-inch hex body profile.
Installation is performed by electronics technicians or licensed electricians during control board assembly or replacement service. De-energize and lock out all power to the equipment before removing or installing circuit board hardware. Use a correctly sized hex driver or nut driver on the hex flats to avoid rounding the body. Do not overtighten — thread stripping in small 2-56 threads is a common failure mode when excessive torque is applied.
