The ELECTRO HARDWARE 1313M09F16440 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff designed to create precise, fixed spacing between stacked PCBs or between a board and a chassis. Machined from 303 stainless steel with a passivated finish per QQ-S-763, this standoff delivers corrosion resistance and dimensional consistency critical in electronics assembly. The body measures 0.5 inches in overall length with a 3/16 inch width across flats, a 1/4 inch female thread depth, and a 3/16 inch male thread length. The 4-40 unified coarse thread is standard in low-voltage electronics and instrumentation. Licensed electricians, electronics assemblers, and controls technicians install these fasteners in board-level assembly work.
This standoff is suited for residential and commercial control panel builds, HVAC control board installations, industrial electronics enclosures, and any application requiring repeatable board-to-board or board-to-chassis separation. The hex body profile allows tightening with standard nut drivers or hex wrenches, making it practical in tight PCB layouts where finger-tightening is insufficient. The passivated stainless construction also makes it appropriate for light industrial and outdoor enclosure environments where mild corrosion exposure is a concern.
Designed as a standard 4-40 male-female hex PCB standoff for use in circuit board assemblies, control enclosures, and electronics mounting applications requiring 0.5 inch board separation with 4-40 threaded hardware.
Installation is performed by electronics assemblers, controls technicians, or licensed electricians working on panel or board-level assemblies. Power down and de-energize all circuits before servicing any control board or enclosure. Use a properly sized nut driver matched to the 3/16 inch hex flats to avoid rounding the standoff body. Do not overtighten — apply only enough torque to seat the threads without stressing the PCB substrate.
