The ELECTRO HARDWARE 1311M03F21256 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff designed to create fixed spacing between PCBs and mounting surfaces in electronic assemblies. The standoff features a 2-56 threaded male end on one side and a 2-56 threaded female end on the other, allowing boards to be stacked or mounted with a consistent, secure gap. The hexagonal body measures 3/16 inches across flats and has an overall body length of 7/16 inches (0.4375 inches). Constructed from brass with a zinc-plated finish meeting ASTM B633 Type 1 and QQ-B-626 Comp 22 standards, this standoff delivers corrosion resistance and reliable electrical isolation in panel builds, control board assemblies, and industrial enclosures.
This standoff is suited for use in low-voltage control panels, HVAC control board assemblies, electrical enclosures, and general electronic equipment where precise PCB spacing is required. Electricians, electronics technicians, and panel builders install this type of hardware during new assembly or repair work. The 2-56 thread size targets small-format circuit boards typical in residential and light commercial control applications. The zinc-plated brass construction makes it appropriate for indoor environments where mild corrosion resistance is needed.
Designed as a standard 2-56 male-female hex standoff for use in circuit board assemblies, electronic enclosures, and control panel builds requiring inch-series threaded hardware.
Installation is performed by electricians, electronics technicians, or panel builders using a hex wrench or nut driver sized to the 3/16-inch flats. Power must be removed from any assembly before installing or removing standoffs near energized components. Avoid overtightening, as brass hardware can strip or crack PCB mounting holes. Follow applicable NEC guidelines and equipment manufacturer torque requirements when installing hardware in listed electrical enclosures.
