The ELECTRO HARDWARE 1308M03F21256 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff designed to create precise, repeatable spacing between PCBs and mounting surfaces or between stacked boards. The body is machined brass with a zinc-plated finish meeting ASTM B633 Type 1 and QQ-B-626 Comp 22 standards. The standoff measures 0.3438 inches overall length with a hexagonal body profile of 0.1875 inches width across flats. The male thread and female thread are both 2-56, allowing boards to be stacked or terminated cleanly. Electronic assembly technicians, field service techs, and control board installers use these standoffs when mounting or replacing circuit boards in HVAC controls, electrical panels, and similar enclosures.
This standoff is suited for use in electronic subassemblies that require consistent board-to-board or board-to-chassis clearance. Common applications include mounting control boards inside HVAC equipment, industrial enclosures, and electrical control panels where the 2-56 thread size and 11/32-inch body length provide the correct standoff height. The hex body allows installation and removal with standard hex drivers or nut drivers without marring the surface finish.
Designed as a standard inch-series 2-56 male-female hex standoff suitable for circuit board mounting applications requiring an 11/32-inch body length and 3/16-inch width across flats.
Installation is performed by electronic assembly technicians or qualified trade professionals servicing control boards. Power down and de-energize all equipment before removing or installing circuit board hardware. A correctly sized hex driver or nut driver should be used to engage the hex body; avoid pliers or tools that could damage the zinc finish or deform the hex profile. Verify thread engagement depth before torquing to avoid stripping the 2-56 threads on the mating board or chassis.
