This standoff features a 4-40 unified coarse thread with a male end on one side and a female threaded bore on the other, allowing boards to be stacked or mounted at a consistent 5/16 inch overall body length. The hex body measures 3/16 inches across flats for wrench engagement during installation. Finished in zinc plating per ASTM B633 Type 1 and QQ-S-633, the steel construction resists corrosion in standard indoor electronic enclosure environments.
