The ELECTRI-FLEX 80147 is a non-UL, Type EF flexible liquidtight conduit rated for a wide range of industrial and commercial electrical installations. Constructed with a steel core and a gray PVC jacket, this conduit delivers solid mechanical protection and moisture resistance for enclosed conductors. It is sized at 1-1/4 inches trade size with an inside diameter ranging from 1.38 to 1.41 inches and an outside diameter ranging from 1.630 to 1.660 inches. Supplied on a 200-foot reel, it is a competitive-grade alternative to standard Type LT conduit and is suited for runs requiring repeated motion, vibration, or directional bending. Licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers.
This conduit is designed for use in industrial environments, machine tool applications, and outdoor installations where UV resistance is required. The PVC outer jacket provides inherent UV resistance, making it appropriate for exposed outdoor routing. Typical applications include wiring runs to motors, pumps, machine tools, and other equipment subject to movement or vibration. It performs across a working temperature range of -20 degrees C to 80 degrees C, supporting year-round use in demanding field conditions.
Designed for use with standard 1-1/4 inch liquidtight fittings compatible with Type EF or Type LT flexible conduit in industrial, machine tool, and outdoor electrical installations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for flexible liquidtight conduit. De-energize all circuits before beginning the installation and verify that selected fittings are rated for the conduit outside diameter range of 1.630 to 1.660 inches. Maintain the minimum inside bend radius of 3.5 inches to avoid kinking or conductor damage. Secure the conduit at intervals required by code and avoid overtightening fittings, which can deform the PVC jacket.
