The ELECTRI-FLEX 80137 is a Type EF general purpose liquid tight flexible metal conduit (LFMC) designed for wiring applications that require both flexibility and protection against liquids, oils, and contaminants. Constructed from galvanized steel with a gray PVC outer jacket, this conduit carries a 1-inch trade size with an inside diameter ranging from 1.041 to 1.066 inches and an outside diameter ranging from 1.29 to 1.315 inches. It is rated for temperatures from -20 to 80 degrees C. Each reel provides 400 feet of continuous conduit, making it well suited for large installations or multiple runs from a single supply.
Type EF liquid tight flexible metal conduit is commonly installed in commercial, industrial, and residential applications where wiring must route through tight spaces or connect to motors, HVAC equipment, compressors, pumps, and other machinery subject to vibration or movement. The flexibility of the steel core allows techs to maneuver conduit around obstructions without field bending tools, while the liquid tight jacket keeps moisture and debris out of the wiring pathway. Electricians use this product in both indoor and outdoor environments where a sealed raceway is required by code or by application conditions.
Designed as a general purpose Type EF liquid tight flexible metal conduit for use with standard 1-inch trade size LFMC fittings in commercial, industrial, and residential electrical installations.
Liquid tight flexible metal conduit is installed by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC Article 350. De-energize all circuits before working in the area and verify lockout-tagout procedures are followed. Use listed 1-inch trade size liquid tight connectors and fittings to maintain the integrity of the liquid tight seal at termination points. Avoid exceeding the minimum bend radius to prevent kinking or damage to the outer jacket.
