The ELECTRI-FLEX 80111 is a non-UL flexible liquidtight conduit supplied in a 100-foot carton, trade size 1/2 inch. Classified as Type EF and finished in machine tool gray, this conduit is constructed with a steel core and a PVC outer jacket that delivers both mechanical protection and moisture resistance to enclosed conductors. The steel construction provides durable flexibility for installations subject to continuous motion, vibration, and bending. The inside diameter ranges from 0.622 to 0.642 inches, with an outside diameter ranging from 0.820 to 0.840 inches, and a minimum inside bend radius of 2 inches. It is installed by licensed electricians in commercial and industrial settings.
The 80111 is designed for use in industrial environments, machine tool applications, and outdoor installations where PVC jacket UV resistance is required. It serves as a competitive-grade alternative to Type LT liquidtight conduit and is well suited for runs requiring repeated flexing or routing around equipment. Typical applications include connecting motors, control panels, pumps, and other machinery where rigid conduit is impractical. The conduit is rated for working temperatures from -20 degrees C to 80 degrees C, making it appropriate for both cold storage and elevated-temperature industrial environments.
Designed as a competitive-grade replacement for Type LT flexible liquidtight conduit in 1/2 inch trade size applications across industrial, machine tool, and outdoor electrical installations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for flexible liquidtight conduit. De-energize all circuits before cutting, routing, or terminating the conduit. Use liquidtight fittings rated for the conduit type and trade size to maintain moisture integrity at termination points. Avoid bending the conduit below the minimum inside bend radius to prevent conductor damage and conduit kinking.
