The ELECTRI-FLEX 28105 is a liquidtight flexible metal conduit (LFMC) supplied on a 175-foot reel in a black jacket finish. At 3 inches trade size, this conduit is built for runs that demand both flexibility and resistance to moisture, oils, and coolants. It carries UL and CSA listings, making it compliant for use in commercial and industrial electrical installations where code-approved liquidtight protection is required. Electricians use it to protect wiring at equipment connections, machinery terminations, and outdoor service points where rigid conduit cannot accommodate vibration or movement.
This conduit is suited for commercial and industrial applications including HVAC equipment connections, compressor wiring, pump and motor terminations, and outdoor panel feeds. The 3-inch trade size handles larger conductor bundles common in three-phase and heavy commercial wiring. The 175-foot reel quantity supports longer continuous runs on job sites, reducing the need for additional couplings. It is installed by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC Article 350 governing liquidtight flexible metal conduit.
Designed for use with standard 3-inch liquidtight fittings and connectors listed for LFMC applications per NEC Article 350.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in compliance with NEC Article 350 and any applicable local electrical codes. De-energize all circuits before beginning conduit installation or conductor pulling. Use listed liquidtight fittings rated for the conduit trade size at all termination points. Avoid kinking the conduit during bending, as sharp bends can compromise the jacket seal and conductor protection.
