The EKLIND TOOL CO 14209 is a long-arm hex L-key designed to drive internal hexagon socket fasteners, commonly called Allen-head fasteners. The long arm measures 3.94 inches and the short arm measures 0.8 inches, giving technicians the reach needed for deep or recessed fastener access. The key is forged from Eklind Alloy Steel that is heat treated, quenched, and tempered for high strength, torque resistance, and ductility. A rust-resistant finish protects the tool in demanding field and shop environments. This is a single-piece hand tool suited for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical service work.
The 14209 is used wherever 9/64-inch internal hex fasteners appear: equipment panels, motor mounts, valve actuators, junction boxes, and component brackets. The long-arm design allows higher torque input when accessed from the short end, and extended reach when accessed from the long end. It is appropriate for both bench work and in-the-field service calls where compact, durable hand tools are required.
Designed for use with any standard 9/64-inch internal hexagon socket fastener across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical applications.
This tool is used by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and mechanical service professionals. Always confirm the fastener size before applying torque to avoid rounding the socket. Ensure the key is fully seated in the fastener before turning. Inspect the tool for wear or deformation before each use and replace if the hex profile shows signs of rounding.
