The EKLIND 103214 is a ball end hex power impact screwdriver bit holder designed for use with 1/4 inch drive impact tools. Machined from alloy steel, it delivers the toughness required for repeated impact cycling without fracturing or rounding out fastener heads. The ball end geometry allows engagement at angles off-axis from the fastener, which is useful in tight or awkward spaces. At 3 inches in overall length, it provides reach without excessive flex. The 7/32 inch hex size targets standard hex socket head cap screws and set screws common in mechanical and electrical assemblies. This bit holder is a single-piece unit sold individually.
This bit holder is suited for commercial and residential trade work where impact drivers are used to drive or remove hex fasteners in HVAC equipment panels, electrical enclosures, plumbing fixture hardware, and general mechanical assemblies. Its 1/4 inch drive fits the standard quick-change chucks found on most cordless and pneumatic impact drivers used by HVAC technicians, electricians, and plumbers. The ball end tip makes it practical for fasteners that are not perfectly aligned with the driver axis, reducing the need to reposition the tool.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for MSC 95268181. Compatible with 1/4 inch drive quick-change impact drivers and drill drivers that accept standard hex shank bit holders.
Insert the 1/4 inch shank fully into the tool chuck until it clicks into the quick-change retainer before applying torque. Inspect the bit tip before use and replace if the hex lobes show wear, as a worn tip can strip fastener heads under impact. No special tools or codes apply to bit holder replacement, but always confirm the impact driver is powered down or the battery is removed before changing accessories.
