The EKLIND 101207 is a ball end hex screwdriver bit designed for use with 1/4 inch hex drive tools. The 7/64 inch hex size and 1 inch overall length make it suited for fastening and loosening hex socket fasteners in tight or angled spaces where straight access is not possible. The ball end geometry allows engagement at off-axis angles, reducing the need to reposition the driver on every stroke. Manufactured from alloy steel with an oxide finish, this bit is built for repeated use in professional hand-tool applications. It is sold individually and is not impact rated.
This bit is used in residential and light commercial maintenance, equipment assembly, and service work wherever 7/64 inch hex socket fasteners are encountered. The 1/4 inch drive shank fits standard bit holders, screwdrivers, and ratcheting drivers. The ball end is particularly useful in HVAC equipment panels, electrical enclosures, and mechanical assemblies where fastener access is restricted by adjacent components or housing geometry.
Designed as a 1/4 inch drive ball end hex bit for use with standard bit holders, T-handle drivers, and ratcheting screwdrivers accepting 1/4 inch hex shanks. Listed as a replacement for MSC part number 90212531.
Seat the bit fully into the driver or bit holder before applying torque to prevent cam-out or bit damage. This bit is not impact rated and should not be used with impact drivers or pneumatic tools. Inspect the hex tip for wear or rounding before each use, as a worn tip can damage fastener heads. No special tools or trade licensing are required for use, but proper bit selection by hex size is critical to avoid fastener damage.
