The EIKO lps16t1048bdp8fcctuem is a 4-foot, Type B LED T10 tube with an integrated emergency battery, designed to replace 32-watt fluorescent lamps in commercial and industrial lighting applications. It accepts input voltage from 120 to 277 VAC, making it compatible with a wide range of building electrical systems. Wattage is field-selectable at 12W, 14W, or 16W, delivering 1,650, 1,900, or 2,200 lumens respectively. Color temperature is selectable across five settings: 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K, and 6500K. With a rated life of 50,000 hours and a CRI of 80 or higher, this tube is suited for retrofits where code-compliant emergency egress lighting is required.
This tube is intended for use in commercial, institutional, and light industrial settings where an emergency backup lighting source must be integrated directly into the fixture. The Type B configuration requires a ballast-bypass installation, making it appropriate for direct-wire fluorescent retrofit projects. Damp location rating allows installation in parking garages, stairwells, corridors, and similar environments. TRIAC dimming support enables compatibility with existing dimming controls where wattage and CCT selections have been set by the installer.
Designed as a direct-wire Type B replacement for 32-watt fluorescent T8 tubes in ballast-bypass retrofit applications. Requires removal of existing ballast prior to installation.
Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the NEC and applicable local codes. De-energize the circuit and verify zero voltage at the fixture before beginning any wiring work. Type B installation requires full ballast removal and direct line-voltage wiring to the tombstone sockets. Confirm wattage and CCT selections on the lamp before securing in the fixture, as these settings may not be accessible after installation.
