Product Description

The Edwards Signaling GCIX is a Graphic Annunciator Expander for the Edwards Intelligent control panel. This device connects the control panel to an LED-based graphic annunciator display. The GCIX supports thirty-two LEDs on the E-FSA250 display and sixteen on the E-FSA64 display. It features built-in status LEDs and an internal buzzer. The unit is designed for snap track mounting and attaches to a plastic mounting rail compatible with two EIA panels. The communication protocol used is RS-485, configurable for either Class A or Class B connections. The GCIX does not provide ground fault isolation. This expander operates as a stand-alone unit powered by either the control panel or an approved power supply.
