Product Description

The Edwards 517T is a 120V AC smoke detector designed for multi-family, residential, and institutional occupancies and complies with UL 217 and NFPA 72. It provides a three-position test switch, pulsing LED sensing chamber and a three-pulse temporal-pattern evacuation tone, with a solid-state non-latching piezo horn rated at 100/90 dB at 1 m/10 ft. The unit mounts to a standard ceiling or wall electrical box and can tandem-wire up to 12 units.
