The ECM INDUSTRIES LLC PS-550 is a 1/2 inch plastic staple designed to secure non-metallic (NM) and underground feeder (UF) electrical cables to framing and structural surfaces. Each bag contains 500 staples, making it a practical bulk supply for residential wiring projects. The PS-550 fits 14/2 and 12/2 cable sizes, covering the most common branch-circuit conductors used in standard residential installations. Electricians rely on this type of staple to maintain NEC-required cable support intervals along studs, joists, and other framing members.
