The ECM INDUSTRIES LLC MSI-50B is a 50-pack of 1/2-inch insulated metal cable staples designed for securing non-metallic (NM) sheathed cable to wood framing members. Each staple features an insulating saddle that protects cable jacketing from direct metal contact, reducing the risk of insulation damage during installation. Packaged in a resealable poly bag, the MSI-50B is suited for electricians running residential branch circuits where NM cable must be fastened at regular intervals per NEC requirements.

These cable staples are used in residential and light commercial electrical rough-in work. They are appropriate for securing NM-B cable along joists, studs, and plates. The 0.5-inch opening accommodates standard two-conductor and three-conductor NM cable sizes commonly used in 14 AWG and 12 AWG branch circuit applications. The resealable bag keeps unused staples organized on the job site between uses.

Installation Notes

Installed by licensed electricians during electrical rough-in. De-energize all circuits in the work area before fastening cable.
