The ECM INDUSTRIES LLC GTA-2N is an aluminum mechanical lug sold in a 2-pack configuration, designed for making secure, low-resistance electrical terminations in residential and commercial wiring applications. Constructed from high-strength aluminum alloy, this lug delivers reliable conductivity while keeping weight and material cost low. The single and dual conductor versions accept conductors ranging from 14 AWG up to 250 MCM, making this a versatile termination solution across a wide range of wire gauges. Licensed electricians install these lugs in panel boards, load centers, and distribution equipment where solid, code-compliant conductor terminations are required.
The GTA-2N is suited for use in both residential service panels and light commercial electrical distribution applications. Its broad conductor range — from 14 AWG through 250 MCM — allows a single lug style to serve multiple termination points within the same installation. Available in single and dual conductor configurations, it adapts to various wiring layouts without requiring multiple product SKUs. Electricians working on feeder terminations, grounding connections, and service entrance equipment will find this lug applicable across common installation scenarios.
Designed as an OEM-style mechanical lug for use in residential and light commercial electrical panel boards and distribution equipment where aluminum conductor terminations are required.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize and lock out the panel or equipment before beginning any termination work. Use a calibrated torque screwdriver or wrench to tighten the mechanical lug set screw to the torque value specified on the equipment nameplate or manufacturer documentation. Do not mix aluminum and copper conductors within the same lug barrel unless the lug is explicitly rated for that combination.
