Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize and lock out the panel or equipment before beginning any termination work. Use a calibrated torque screwdriver or wrench to tighten the lug set screws to the manufacturer-specified value marked on the lug or enclosure label. Aluminum conductors require anti-oxidant compound application prior to termination per applicable NEC guidelines.
