The ECM INDUSTRIES LLC FLX-1007GRT is a corrugated polyethylene flexible tubing designed to organize and protect loose cables and wiring in electrical, HVAC, and low-voltage applications. The tube measures 1 inch in diameter and 5 feet in length, and it features a pre-split design along its full length, allowing installers to snap cables in without threading. The gray corrugated construction provides flexibility for routing through tight spaces while maintaining physical protection against abrasion and minor impact. Each package contains 5 pieces and ships bagged for jobsite convenience.
This flex tubing is suited for residential and light commercial applications where cable bundling and protection are needed. Common uses include organizing thermostat wiring, low-voltage control cables, irrigation wire, and other bundled conductors routed through walls, attics, crawlspaces, or mechanical rooms. The split construction makes it a practical choice when wiring is already terminated and cannot be threaded through a closed conduit. Electricians, HVAC technicians, and low-voltage installers use this product during rough-in and retrofit work alike.
Designed as a general-purpose split flex conduit suitable for organizing and protecting low-voltage cables, thermostat wiring, and bundled conductors in residential and light commercial electrical and HVAC installations.
Installation does not require specialty tools — the split design allows cables to be pressed directly into the tubing along its length. De-energize all circuits before routing or securing wiring. Secure the tubing at regular intervals using appropriate cable ties or staples to prevent sagging or pull-out. Follow applicable NEC requirements for the wiring type and environment where the tubing is installed.
