The ECM INDUSTRIES LLC 47-127UVB is a 28-inch releasable nylon cable tie designed for temporary fastening of wires, cables, and hoses in outdoor and field-service applications. The tie features an extended releasable tab built into the head, allowing the bundle to be loosened and re-secured without cutting the tie. UV-resistant black nylon construction blocks harmful ultraviolet light, preventing the material degradation common with standard nylon ties exposed to sunlight. Each package contains 3 ties. This product is suited for electricians, HVAC techs, plumbers, and pool service professionals who need a reusable bundling solution on installations that require frequent access or periodic adjustment.
The 47-127UVB is intended primarily for outdoor use where UV exposure would degrade a standard cable tie. Typical applications include wire and hose management on rooftop HVAC equipment, outdoor electrical enclosures, irrigation lines, pool equipment, and any service point where technicians revisit the bundle regularly. The releasable design eliminates the need to carry replacement ties every service visit, reducing material waste on recurring maintenance routes. Packaged in bags of 3 ties per pack, with a package quantity of 10 packs per order unit.
General-purpose releasable cable tie suitable for bundling wires, cables, and hoses across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and pool equipment applications where a reusable, UV-stable fastener is required.
Cable ties of this type are installed by hand and require no tools for standard application or release. When used near energized conductors, de-energize the circuit per NFPA 70 (NEC) requirements before working on wiring bundles. Do not over-cinch bundles containing insulated conductors, as excessive compression can damage insulation. The releasable tab should be pulled straight back against the head for clean release without damaging the ratchet mechanism.
