The ECM INDUSTRIES LLC 45-311UVBFZ is a 20-pack of 11-inch black Xtreme Temperature cable ties rated for a wide service range of -4 to 185 degrees F (-20 to 85 degrees C) and a tensile strength of up to 50 pounds. These ties are engineered for demanding environments where standard nylon ties fail due to temperature extremes or UV exposure. HVAC technicians, electricians, and plumbers use these ties to bundle wiring, secure refrigerant lines, organize conduit, and fasten components in attics, rooftops, and mechanical rooms where temperature swings are severe.
The 45-311UVBFZ is suited for both residential and light commercial applications. Typical uses include bundling low-voltage control wiring in air handlers and furnaces, securing pipe insulation, organizing electrical conduit runs, and fastening components in outdoor or semi-outdoor enclosures. The black color provides resistance to UV degradation, making these ties appropriate for exposed installations where sunlight is a factor. Each bag contains 20 ties at 11 inches in length.
General-purpose cable ties compatible with standard bundling and fastening tasks across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and pool service applications where Xtreme temperature performance is required.
Cable ties of this type are installed by hand or with a standard cable tie tensioning tool. When routing ties around sharp edges or abrasive surfaces, verify that the tie path will not compromise the strap over time. Trim excess tail flush with the locking head after tensioning to prevent injury and snagging. Follow applicable NEC or mechanical code requirements for wire bundling and support spacing in electrical and HVAC installations.
