The ECM INDUSTRIES LLC 20-411 is a solderless crimp sleeve connector designed for making secure, copper-to-copper wire connections without heat or solder equipment. Rated for wire gauges from 18 AWG through 8 AWG, the connector is constructed from zinc plated steel for corrosion resistance and mechanical durability. Each package contains 8 connectors. The 20-411 is UL Listed, meeting the safety and performance requirements that licensed electricians and HVAC technicians require when making field splices in control wiring, line voltage circuits, and low-voltage wiring applications.
This crimp sleeve connector is suited for residential and light commercial electrical and HVAC wiring tasks where solderless terminations are preferred. Typical applications include splicing copper conductors during panel work, motor wiring, thermostat wiring, and general electrical repairs. The connectors are packaged in a clamshell for jobsite convenience and can be applied quickly with a standard crimping tool, making them practical for service techs and electricians working in tight spaces or in the field.
Designed for copper-to-copper conductor splicing across the 18 AWG to 8 AWG wire gauge range, suitable for use in residential and light commercial electrical and HVAC wiring applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize the circuit completely before making any wire terminations. Use a calibrated crimping tool appropriate for the wire gauge being terminated to ensure a secure, gas-tight connection. These connectors are rated for copper conductors only and must not be used with aluminum wire.
