The ECLIPSE E1003/NEO is a neodymium rare earth pot magnet designed for high-strength holding and mounting applications. The neodymium core is encased in a zinc-finished steel cup, concentrating magnetic flux through the contact face to deliver a maximum pull force of 68.3 pounds (31 kg). The countersunk mounting hole allows flush fastening to a surface using a standard flat-head fastener. At 1.25 inches in diameter and 0.3 inches in overall thickness, this compact magnet is suited for installations where space is limited but holding strength is critical. HVAC technicians, electricians, and general trade professionals use pot magnets for securing panels, routing cable, and temporary fixturing during service work.
This magnet is appropriate for both residential and light commercial applications where a permanent or semi-permanent magnetic mount is required. The countersunk hole style allows it to be bolted directly to a bracket, fixture, or enclosure surface, keeping the magnet face flush and maximizing contact area. The zinc finish provides basic corrosion resistance for indoor and sheltered outdoor environments. Operating temperature is rated to a maximum of 176 degrees F (80 degrees C), making it suitable for most equipment rooms and mechanical spaces.
Designed as a general-purpose neodymium pot magnet for use in trade mounting, fixturing, and panel-securing applications across HVAC, electrical, and mechanical service environments.
Install using a flat-head fastener sized to fit the countersunk hole; do not overtighten, as neodymium magnets are brittle and can crack under excessive clamping force. Keep the magnet away from sensitive electronics, magnetic media, and implanted medical devices during handling and installation. Demagnetization can occur if the magnet is exposed to temperatures above its 176 degrees F rated maximum, so verify ambient and surface temperatures before placement in high-heat locations.
