The ECLIPSE 826 is a compact alnico pot magnet designed for holding, clamping, and fixturing applications across industrial and trade environments. Built from mild steel with a Grade 5 Alnico core, this magnet delivers an average pull force of 7.5 pounds from a body measuring just 0.75 inches in diameter and 0.295 inches high. The countersunk mounting hole accepts an M3 screw, allowing flush surface mounting on equipment panels, jigs, fixtures, and enclosures. Its rated maximum operating temperature of 220 degrees C makes it suitable for environments where standard ferrite magnets would lose performance.
This pot magnet is used in light-duty holding and latching applications across manufacturing, HVAC equipment assembly, electrical panel work, and general mechanical service. The small form factor fits tight mounting locations where space is limited. The screw-mount design allows repeatable installation and removal without adhesives. Electricians, HVAC technicians, and fabricators commonly use this style of magnet for securing access panels, holding sensors, and organizing ferrous components during service work.
Designed as a general-purpose screw-mount pot magnet suitable for M3 countersunk fastener installations in industrial fixtures, HVAC equipment panels, electrical enclosures, and similar ferrous-surface applications.
Installation requires an M3 fastener through the countersunk hole to secure the magnet to the mounting surface. De-energize or isolate any electrical equipment before placing magnets near sensitive electronics, sensors, or magnetic-field-sensitive components. Keep alnico magnets away from strong opposing magnetic fields during handling, as alnico alloys can be partially demagnetized by opposing flux. No special tools are required beyond standard M3 screwdrivers or hex drivers.
