The EATON nos-90 is a Class H general-purpose, one-time fuse rated at 90 amps and 600 volts AC. It is a non-current-limiting, non-indicating fuse designed for branch circuit and feeder protection in industrial, commercial, and residential electrical distribution systems. With an interrupting rating of 10 kAIC at 600 Vac, it provides reliable overcurrent protection in applications where fault currents are within that threshold. The blade-end-to-blade-end connection fits standard Class H fusible disconnect switches and fuse holders. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this fuse as part of panel, feeder, and equipment protection schemes. This package contains 5 fuses.
The nos-90 is suited for use in fusible safety switches, disconnect enclosures, and motor branch circuit panels where general-purpose overcurrent protection is required. Its Class H and Class K5 ratings make it applicable across a broad range of load types, including lighting circuits, heating equipment, and general electrical loads in commercial and light industrial settings. It is not intended for current-limiting applications or service entrance installations requiring higher interrupting ratings.
Designed as a Class H blade-end replacement fuse for standard 600-volt fusible safety switches, disconnect switches, and fuse holders that accept Class H or Class K5 cartridge fuses in the 90-amp size.
Installation and replacement must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. Always de-energize and lock out the circuit before opening a fusible disconnect or fuse holder. Use an appropriately rated fuse puller when removing or installing cartridge fuses — never handle energized fuses with bare hands. Verify that the replacement fuse amperage and voltage ratings match the circuit requirements before reinstalling the disconnect cover.
