The EATON NON-EK is a non-renewable cartridge emergency fuse kit rated for circuits up to 250 volts and covering the 20-amp to 60-amp range. The kit is assembled for field use by licensed electricians and service technicians who need on-hand replacements across multiple fuse sizes without sourcing each size separately. It includes six fuses in four amperage ratings plus a fuse tester, making it practical for facilities maintenance, service vans, and panel work where downtime matters. NON-series fuses are single-element, non-time-delay fuses suited for branch circuit and motor circuit protection where a straightforward overcurrent device is specified.
NON-series cartridge fuses see widespread use in industrial, agricultural, and commercial settings, as well as residential fuse panels, air conditioning units, pumps, and general appliances. This kit covers the most common amperage steps in that range, allowing a single stocked item to address multiple service calls. It is appropriate for branch circuit protection and motor protection applications where higher amperage or voltage ratings are required beyond the standard plug-fuse range.
Designed for use in branch circuits and motor circuits requiring NON-series non-renewable cartridge fuses rated at 250 volts, including residential fuse panels, air conditioning units, pumps, appliances, and general industrial and commercial equipment.
Cartridge fuse replacement must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with NEC requirements. Always disconnect and lock out power to the panel or disconnect before removing or installing fuses. Use the included fuse tester to confirm an open fuse before replacement rather than assuming failure by visual inspection alone. Non-renewable fuses must be replaced after any overcurrent event — do not attempt to reuse a blown fuse.
