The EATON NON-25 is a 25-amp, 250-volt general-purpose cartridge fuse designed for one-time overcurrent protection in non-motor-load circuits. Built to Class K5 standards with a 50,000 ampere interrupting rating (AIR), it delivers reliable fault protection in lighting circuits, main panel applications, and branch circuits that do not serve large inductive motor loads. Ferrule-style ends ensure a secure fit in standard fuse holders. This is a single-use, no-time-delay fuse — it clears faults immediately without intentional hold time, making it appropriate where nuisance trips from inrush current are not a concern.
The NON-25 is suited for residential and light commercial electrical installations. Typical applications include lighting branch circuits, feeder protection in main panels, and general-purpose circuits where current-limiting performance is not required. It is not recommended for circuits with large electric motors, where time-delay or current-limiting fuses are the correct specification. Electricians and electrical contractors are the primary installers for this type of overcurrent device.
Designed for use in non-current-limiting lighting circuits, main panel protection, and general branch circuits that do not contain large electric motors. Not suitable as a motor-circuit or current-limiting fuse replacement.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). Always de-energize and lock out the panel or disconnect before handling or replacing fuses. Use an appropriately rated fuse puller when removing cartridge fuses from live-adjacent equipment. This is a one-time device — do not attempt to reuse a fuse that has operated.
