The EATON NON-1/2 is a 1/2-amp, 250-volt Class H one-time cartridge fuse designed for overcurrent protection in general-purpose electrical circuits. Once the element opens on an overcurrent event, the fuse must be replaced — it is not resettable. Class H fuses are built to UL 198C standards and are a common choice for protecting branch circuits, control panels, and equipment where fast, reliable interruption is required. Licensed electricians and panel technicians typically install these fuses during system commissioning, maintenance, or fault repair.
This fuse is suited for residential and light commercial electrical panels, motor control centers, distribution boards, and general-purpose load circuits operating at 250 volts or below. At 1/2 amp, the NON-1/2 protects low-amperage circuits such as control wiring, instrumentation loops, and small transformer secondaries. Its cartridge form factor fits standard Class H fuse holders and disconnect blocks.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for standard Class H cartridge fuse holders and disconnect blocks rated for 250-volt service.
Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with NEC Article 240 requirements for overcurrent protection. Always de-energize and lock out the circuit before replacing a fuse. Use insulated fuse pullers when removing or inserting cartridge fuses from live-adjacent holders. Never replace a fuse with a higher amperage rating than the circuit is designed for.
