The EATON H177608-500R is an oil-resistant air hose built for demanding pneumatic service in trade and industrial environments. Constructed from Buna-N (nitrile rubber), it resists oil, grease, and hydrocarbon exposure that would degrade standard rubber hose. The hose measures 1/2 inch inside diameter and 7/8 inch outside diameter, with a rated working pressure of 325 psi. The temperature range runs from -40 degrees F to 180 degrees F, making it suitable for both cold-weather outdoor service and hot shop environments. It is sold cut-to-length from a 500-foot coil in 1-foot increments, with a 25-foot minimum cut length. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and general mechanical contractors are the typical installers.
This hose is suited for compressed air distribution lines in shops, service bays, manufacturing floors, and construction sites where oil contamination from compressor output is a concern. The nitrile construction holds up in environments where petroleum-based lubricants, compressor oils, or hydraulic fluid mist may contact the hose exterior or interior.
